Catherine O'Brien is woman in her mid-20s struggling to balance work, family, and her relationships. Though she was raised Irish Catholic, the world of communion, confessionals, and catholicism is a thing of the past for Catherine. But there is one thing she can’t shake; the fear that something bad might happen if she misses Sunday mass. After 25 years, she spontaneously skips mass for the first time and soon after makes the shocking discovery that she is being possessed by a black spirit who calls himself the prince of hell. On her journey to exorcise these demons (both the paranormal and emotional kind), Catherine grapples with guilt, her relationships, and what it means to be good.
